Tone control

The Keeley Noble Screamer Overdrive Pedal is equipped with two different tone control circuits for ultimate tonal flexibility. With the Tone Switch engaged in the Overdrive (OD) Position, you'll access the 'Spectrum' tone control. This feature allows you to adjust your sound from a balanced, flat EQ to one with heightened treble and bass frequencies. However, should you prefer a tone with less high-frequency content, you can engage the Tone Switch in the Tube Screamer (TS) Position. This setting activates a Low Pass Filter, effectively diminishing the high-frequency response.

Diode clipping

The Noble Screamer pedal introduces varying styles of diode clipping, offering both Hard and Soft Clipping options. Diodes are integral in generating hard-edged distortions or mellow overdrive tones. Activating the Clipping Switch in the OD Position will lead to Hard Diode Clipping, resulting in a relatively aggressive, sharper sound. Conversely, switching to the TS Position applies Soft Diode Clipping, simulating the gentle, overdriven tones of a tube amplifier. The Keeley Noble Screamer Overdrive Pedal features the unique Vitamin K Infused Buffer, ensuring quiet and seamless switching. This innovative buffer not only enhances your overall rig's sound but enables silent switching without any drop in tone quality, eliminating distracting noises.

For those who prefer the classic true bypass, a long press on the foot switch for two seconds switches the pedal to True-Bypass mode (confirmed by two LED flashes). This mode gives the impression of connecting directly to your amp when the pedal is deactivated. On the other hand, if you want to maintain a robust and clear signal when the Noble Screamer is switched off, another two-second press returns the effect to Buffered Bypass (with three LED flashes).
